We are thrilled to have all avoided the storms long enough to make our flight to Spain safely!  The delays gave us plenty of time in the airport to get to know each other better!  Today, after our over-night flight, we’re a little tired, but enchanted by an incredible city…Madrid! We visited the Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Oriente, The Prado Museum, and enjoyed a great dinner together. We began discussing our theme of “La Encrucijada”, or Crossroads, at the zero kilometer mark in the center of the Puerta del Sol, where all highways in Spain begin.  Molly and Edu entertained us with their Spanish flare! :) We are very happy that the group has been awesome!  Everyone has been very friendly and open-minded, and has been speaking a LOT of Spanish!  Stay tuned for more updates!  Next stop: TOLEDO!
